What Happened

I am the official developer of AutoClicker 2026, which until recently was the top search result on SourceForge.net for auto-clicker software. Many of you found me through that listingand I am writing this post to make sure none of you get hurt because of what SourceForge has done.

SourceForge has wrongfully banned my developer account and redirected my traffic to a malicious replacement app containing viruses.

That is not a typo. The same URL that used to point to my clean, open-source build now serves a tampered binary that installs malware on your machine. I have no control over those redirects. SourceForge doesand they have chosen to weaponize my reputation against the very users who trusted them.

Why I Am Speaking Out

For months I shipped every release of AutoClicker 2026 through SourceForge because it was free, simple, and reasonably trusted by the open-source community. Users downloaded clean code, audited it, and gave great feedback.

That trust has now been brokennot by me, but by SourceForge.net’s own staff. After my account was banned without notice or explanation, the listing remained live but the binaries were swapped out for something else.

The end result: a user clicks “Download AutoClicker 2026” on SourceForge, runs the installer, and ends up with malware on their PC. That is exactly the kind of supply-chain attack open-source platforms exist to preventand SourceForge.net is now actively part of the problem.

How to Stay Safe

There are only two official sources for AutoClicker 2026. Bookmark them:

Anything elseSourceForge mirrors, random “free download” portals, YouTube descriptions, Reddit linksis at best unverified and at worst actively malicious. If a download link does not start with https://nyxa.one/ or https://play.google.com/, do not run it.

What To Do If You Already Downloaded from SourceForge

1. Uninstall any AutoClicker 2026 build you obtained from SourceForge after the account ban (anything not from nyxa.one or Google Play).
2. Run a malware scan with Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, or your preferred tool.
3. Reinstall the clean version from nyxa.one or the Google Play Store.
4. Change passwords for any sensitive accounts you used during the time the malicious build was on your machine.
